For best viewing, please visit this website on a computer rather than a mobile device.
Stonecrest will be opening up to two-way traffic by the end of the day Thursday. There are still several things that need to be done so daily closures may still take place at times. Stop signs and striping still need to be installed and mailboxes need to be replaced. Additionally, the Town of Argyle and DDM will be walking the project over the next couple of weeks to point out miscellaneous items that need to be addressed before project completion.
As always, we thank you for you understanding as we work to complete Stonecrest Road construction as quickly and safely as possible!
12/2/2022 Update - Stonecrest Road Construction News
For best viewing, please visit this website on a computer rather than a mobile device.
As of right now, we are scheduled to have Stonecrest Road fully paved out on the week leading into Christmas, pending dry weather for the next couple of weeks. In order to finish the project as quickly as possible, we will not be opening up any more sections as we go, so as to focus our resources on finishing the paving and backfill for the entire length of the project.
The Town of Argyle is finalizing the mailbox replacement changes to our scope of work, so please bear with us, as we should be in touch with you in the next couple of weeks regarding mailbox replacement.
As always, we thank you for you understanding as we work to complete Stonecrest Road construction as quickly and safely as possible!
11/4/2022 Update - Canyon Falls Railroad Closure
Frenchtown to Forest Trail OPEN TO TWO-WAY TRAFFIC
For best viewing, please visit this website on a computer rather than a mobile device.
Due to Union Pacific Railroad repairs that need to be made at Canyon Falls Dr, Canyon Falls Dr will be closed to access from both directions at the railroad crossing on Saturday 11/5.
-
Residents that live South of Winchester Pass will have to drive to Canyon Falls drive, turn right, and take that to FM 1171 to then get to HWY 377.
-
Residents that live between Forest Trail and Winchester Pass may take Winchester Pass, to Pioneer Cir E, to Forest Trail to access Stonecrest and leave via Frenchtown Rd.
Stonecrest Rd between Forest Trail and Frenchtown Rd is now open to two-way traffic!!
As we complete concrete leave-outs, we will open more sections up to two-way traffic. We anticipate Frenchtown Rd to FM 407 to be open to two-way traffic by the end of next week (pending any weather delays). Furthermore, as we continue to move South down Stonecrest and complete sections, they will also be opened to two-way traffic. Those updates will be posted on this site. Please note that although Forest Trail through Frenchtown Rd is open to two-way traffic now, next week there will be daily closures in order to complete final touches in that area. Forest Trail through Frenchtown was expedited to help ease the delays being applied by the railroad this weekend.
Please see the map below showing a visual of how traffic will have to flow on Stonecrest Rd this weekend due to the railroad closure at Canyon Falls Dr.
As always, we thank you for you understanding as we work to complete Stonecrest Road construction as quickly and safely as possible!

9/26/2022 Update
For best viewing, please visit this website on a computer rather than a mobile device.
Today, traffic is being put onto the new concrete pavement on Stonecrest Rd. Traffic is still one-way Southbound. Milling operations will start on the East half of Stonecrest tomorrow (Tuesday) from FM 407 South to Oakridge Lane and this is expected to take through Friday to complete.
For residents on the East half of Stonecrest: Until the milling operation passes your home, please use the transitions along Stonecrest (from old to new pavement) to access your home. As the mill machine comes through, access will be installed from your driveway to the new pavement. Please be cautious while transitioning from old to new pavement or vice versa, as traffic will be driving on the new concrete. Approximate transition locations can be seen in the image to the right. Please plan for delays up to 30 minutes while the milling operation is taking place along the East half of Stonecrest.
As always, we appreciate your understanding as we work to improve the quality of Stonecrest Road as quickly and safely as possible.

Traffic will still be flowing one-way Southbound for the remainder of construction. Please see the image below for the flow of traffic.
As we work on the East half, and sections of Stonecrest are fully completed, we will open certain areas to two-way traffic. However, the majority of Stonecrest will remain one-way Southbound until full completion of the new roadway.

9/2/2022 Update - WEATHER DELAY
For best viewing, please visit this website on a computer rather than a mobile device.
Due to the rain each day this week, we were unable to move as quickly with the paving operation as we hoped. Winchester Pass was closed Tuesday as previously stated, however we weren't able to make it to Winchester Pass with the concrete paving this week. Winchester Pass will remain closed at least through the end of next week. Please continue to use Forest Trail as access to and from the Settlement neighborhood.
Please continue to plan for delays up to 20 minutes over the next several weeks as we continue to pave the West half of Stonecrest Road.
As always, we appreciate your understanding as we work to improve the quality of Stonecrest Road as quickly and safely as possible.

Winchester Pass will be re-opened to traffic by Wednesday of the following week (9/7) after the concrete reaches the appropriate cure strength for traffic.
Please continue to plan for delays up to 20 minutes over the next several weeks as we continue to pave the West half of Stonecrest Road.

8/16/2022 Update (REVISED) - Continued Concrete Paving - Shenandoah Dr
For best viewing, please visit this website on a computer rather than a mobile device.
Previously, it was posted that Winchester Pass was going to be closed for a week starting 8/22. This is no longer the case. With our continued paving on Stonecrest Rd, we are scheduled to be at Shenandoah Dr by Monday, 8/22. Shenandoah Dr will not be fully closed, as it is the only access to that neighborhood. However, Shenandoah Dr will be restricted in width, so that it can be paved in halves. Please be cautious when driving through the Shenandoah/Stonecrest intersection.
Please continue to plan for delays up to 20 minutes over the next several weeks as we continue to pave the West half of Stonecrest Road.
As always, we appreciate your understanding as we work to improve the quality of Stonecrest Road as quickly and safely as possible.
If you have driveway access constrains and/or need wider driveway access on a given date, please email us a few days in advance at stonecrest@ddmcc.net so that we may accommodate you as best as we can.
8/2/2022 Update - Forest Trail Closure! (REVISED)
For best viewing, please visit this website on a computer rather than a mobile device.
Starting Monday (8/8), Forest Trail will be closed for concrete paving on Stonecrest Road. Winchester Pass will be kept open at full-width to allow for access to and from the Settlement neighborhood. Forest Trail will be re-opened to traffic by Tuesday of the following week (8/16) after the concrete reaches the appropriate cure strength for traffic.
Please continue to plan for delays up to 20 minutes over the next several weeks as we continue to pave the West half of Stonecrest Road.
As always, we appreciate your understanding as we work to improve the quality of Stonecrest Road as quickly and safely as possible.

7/26/2022 Update - Paving Start
For best viewing, please visit this website on a computer rather than a mobile device.
Starting tomorrow (7/27) concrete paving will begin on Stonecrest Road at FM 407 heading South. As we pave through, several leave-outs will be left at driveways and side streets.
Please note that during concrete paving, traffic delays are to be expected as the concrete trucks must briefly stop in the lane of traffic to dump the concrete in front of the paving operation. During the next 5-6 weeks, please give yourself an extra 20 minutes of travel time, should you get stopped on Stonecrest during the paving operation.
Next week, Forest Trail will be closed to all traffic as we concrete pave through that intersection. Winchester Pass will be kept open at full-width to allow for access to and from the Settlement neighborhood. After a week of concrete being placed, access at Forrest Trail will be re-opened. Similarly, as we approach Winchester Pass, notice will be provided on this website about when that will happen and Winchester Pass will be closed to traffic, leaving Forest Trail as the access point.
Due to Shenandoah Dr being the only access point to that neighborhood, it will be paved in halves so that access may always be kept to and from Shenandoah Dr.
7/19/2022 Update - Cem-Lime Operation & Paving Start
For best viewing, please visit this website on a computer rather than a mobile device.
We appreciate your patience with the traffic delays at the intersections. Today (Tuesday 7/19), crews are finishing the Shenandoah intersection. Tomorrow morning, from 7:00 am to 11:00 am, the intersection of Winchester Pass will be temporarily closed as crews stabilize the base, similar to Forest Trail last Friday.
The base stabilization process consists of crews removing the tie-ins (temporary driveway access), breaking up the soil and adding water, then mixing the Cem-Lime and compacting the base. Once compaction and grades are set, crews re-establish the tie-ins (temporary access).
Paving will be starting next week! Check back Monday the 25th to see our projected paving schedule and how the intersections of Forest Trail, Shenandoah, and Winchester Pass will be affected.
As always, we appreciate your understanding as we work to improve the quality of Stonecrest Road as quickly and safely as possible.
7/13/2022 Update - Stonecrest Cem-Lime Operation Starts Tomorrow!
For best viewing, please visit this website on a computer rather than a mobile device.
Starting on Thursday, July 14th, and lasting through Friday, July 22nd, subgrade treatment with Cem-Lime will be taking place inside of the current road closure. Each day, different driveways will be affected briefly during the operation, due to subgrade treatment being required in front of all driveways. We will do our best to accommodate you as best as we can while working in front of your home or business.
As always, we appreciate your understanding in advance as we work to improve the quality of Stonecrest Road as quickly and safely as possible.
7/8/2022 Update - Stonecrest Closed to Thru Traffic
For best viewing, please visit this website on a computer rather than a mobile device.
Starting on Tuesday, July 12th, and lasting through Wednesday, July 13th, Stonecrest Rd will be closed to thru traffic, from FM 407 to Frenchtown Rd. Thru traffic will need to access Stonecrest via Frenchtown Rd.
Residents living between FM 407 and Frenchtown Rd will still have access to and from their homes. This closure is expected to only last a couple of days. At all times, Stonecrest will remain Southbound one-way traffic only.
See the image below for a visual of this closure.

6/25/2022 Update - Construction Has Begun!
For best viewing, please visit this website on a computer rather than a mobile device.
As you may have noticed, construction officially began on Stonecrest Road on Thursday, 6/23. We understand that the new traffic pattern was confusing at first to some, but rest assured we have taken additional measures to add traffic control signs ("WRONG WAY" and "ONE WAY" signs) at all side streets that intersect the Stonecrest closure to ensure traffic is always driving in the correct direction. As a reminder, Stonecrest Road is Southbound traffic only from FM 407 to Oak Ridge Ln. We are currently scheduled to keep traffic in this one-way Southbound orientation until the end of the year. During construction, we strongly encourage any cyclists and pedestrians to seek other paths for your safety, the safety of the traveling public, and the safety of our crews.
This website will be continually updated as things progress on the Stonecrest Rd project. If there are any questions, concerns, or requests, please contact DDM Construction (General Contractor) at stonecrest@ddmcc.net.
We know that construction can be an inconvenience at times. DDM Construction would like to thank you for your understanding and patience as we work to repair and improve the quality of Stonecrest Road.

For best viewing, please visit this website on a computer rather than a mobile device.
In a couple of week, Stonecrest Road construction will begin. Starting June 23rd, Stonecrest Rd (between FM 407 & Oak Ridge Ln) will be one-way traffic only, flowing Southbound. Traffic will stay in this orientation for the duration of construction. The Detour Route to the North end of Stonecrest Rd will be US Hwy 377 to either Frenchtown Road, or to FM 407. Please see the image below giving a visual of traffic flow on Stonecrest Rd while construction is taking place.
Please note that access to private driveways, side streets, and business entrances will be kept at all times, minus one-off closures during active construction in front of those specific access points. Advanced notice will be given directly to these properties via handout a few days ahead of the closure. Please be on the lookout for these notices.
